✔️Window Dress - Mood Shape-Memory Blackout Curtains, Thermal Protection, Windproof, Insulation, Premium Domestic Curtains I used to use thick gray blackout curtains, but after using them for a long time, the creases became messy and holes appeared here and there, which kept bothering me. To change the atmosphere of my bedroom, I switched to the Window Dress Shape-Memory Blackout Curtains in beige, and it was a great choice!! I was worried that the beige color might look too dark, but it has a sand beige feel that is neither too yellow nor too dark. As soon as I installed them, the atmosphere became much cozier and more luxurious. I think it is a fail-safe color that goes well with any interior. The biggest advantage of this product is definitely the 'shape-memory' function. You don't need to struggle to create creases; simply hanging them up maintains consistent and neat hotel-style folds. Since they fall straight down to the bottom, it also seems to have the effect of making the space look wider and the ceiling appear higher!! There are five colors available: Snow, Vanilla, Beige, Gray, and Charcoal. Since the blackout rate varies for each color, it is important to choose the one that suits you best. The darker the shade, the higher the blackout rate; conversely, the lighter the shade, the lower the blackout rate. Given the atmosphere of my home, I didn't want it to be too dark, so I chose the mid-tone Beige. However, since there is a subtle sheer transparency during the day, if you want to block out all the bright light, I recommend choosing a darker color like Gray or Charcoal. The standard size for a single panel is 140mm wide x 230mm high (custom made/longer lengths are also available). My window is approximately 300mm wide x 233mm high (please measure the height from the ceiling inside the curtain box to the floor). I wanted the pleats to be just right and voluminous, so I ordered a total of four panels. I ordered the 229mm size, shortening it by about 4cm to account for the curtain pins going in slightly, and it turned out to be a perfect fit! On days like these with large daily temperature fluctuations, I’m really seeing the benefits of its thermal insulation and windproofing. Just by closing a single curtain, the chill coming in from the window in the early morning has definitely decreased significantly, and since it blocks heat well during the day, I’m looking forward to seeing it perform its role even better in the summer. It will even help reduce heating and cooling costs, so it’s like killing two birds with one stone, right? What I like most is!! Perhaps because it is a domestic product, the finishing on the back is incredibly meticulous. It is clean without a single loose thread, and the fabric itself is substantial yet soft, so it doesn't feel cheap at all to the touch. The quality is truly excellent for the price, making me realize why people look for domestic products. Hesitation only delays delivery. Haha. It can be washed separately in cold water (wool cycle below 30 degrees Celsius), and you should spin it gently and dry it in the partial shade (do not use a dryer). Since it uses plastic curtain pins, you can wash it with the pins still in place. I used to hesitate thinking I would have to remove the pins every time I washed the curtains, but it’s even better that I don't have to worry about that anymore.
