My recommended interior design tip is to focus on storage space. New apartments these days come with excellent pantry spaces, but for older apartments like ours, or smaller ones in the 20-pyeong range, living space is woefully inadequate. As you live here, your belongings tend to accumulate, but due to a lack of space, things often get messy. That is why, when I was doing the interior design, I prioritized increasing storage capacity above all else! While looking pretty is nice, I realized I couldn't ignore practicality in the end. Haha. So, instead of a TV stand, I built a wall unit that spans the entire living room wall. 😍 My know-how involves opening up the sides to keep the view open, commensurate with the increased thickness, and opening every single unit to check for any interference with ceiling molding or other items. This actually applies to all cases where built-in wardrobes are installed. Try opening and closing every door! If there is any interference, you definitely need to make adjustments. Haha.
