Hey everyone, I have a question. It's about the smell of a mattress. >< Has anyone else recently purchased a new mattress?! I received a new mattress, and right after delivery, the "new smell" was really strong... (It smells like new furniture, and it feels like a glue smell.) I saw on the product page that the smell almost disappears if you ventilate for more than 10 days, so I've set the mattress upright and opened the windows wide to ventilate 24 hours a day!!! It's been 10 days!!! But the smell is still the same (it's only getting ever so slightly fainter). The new smell is so strong just by opening the door and going inside, and if I get close to the mattress and smell it, the glue smell is intense. Will this really improve if I keep ventilating...?!? My family says their eyes sting and their throats hurt (I don't have any physical reactions...), so I'm starting to doubt if it really is harmless to the human body as the product description claims... I'm asking for help because I wonder if anyone has had a similar experience ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ!!!!! For reference, the seller stated that no one else has made the same inquiry as me and asked me to reply after ventilating according to the manual (for more than 10 days).
