🕊️ As my first gift to mark the start of my first half-year as a Today's House Special Creator, I received a special brand goods kit created in collaboration with Soil Baker. When receiving a gift, I enjoy the time spent imagining the thought process and meaning behind the giver's selection, and this special kit is overflowing with things to imagine. The contents packed inside the large blue box were incredibly substantial. As I took out the seemingly endless items one by one, I felt as excited and thrilled as a child unwrapping a gift set of assorted snacks. The name of this kit is ‘SPECIAL CRAFTER.’ The aspiration of a Special Creator is likened to ceramic art, where the natural material of clay takes on a one-of-a-kind form through the touch of human hands. It carries a message hoping that one will carefully craft each day with the heart of a craftsman, using the sincerity that is most authentically oneself as the material. When I project my heart onto the items, they look different. From a new form of a protective pollack to a mini vase with a rough texture, and cups and bowls in various colors and textures. Perhaps the intention was to showcase the diverse future that 100 creators will shape over the next 4.5 months. This is the biggest reason I took on the challenge of becoming a Special Creator. While cool trophies, name tags, and opportunities are nice, it is because they send sincere support for each person's authenticity. Now, as a member of SK rather than a host, I want to continue creating a record that is even more true to myself. I feel like this Special Brand Goods Kit will be sending me support right up close in my daily life for the next 4.5 months!
