The older sister already had a separate study space, as I had built a desk and bookshelves in the study. As the second child also entered elementary school, she needed a quiet space where she could concentrate. Our house is in the 30-pyeong range with a 3-room layout, so I considered creating a separate study room for the children. However, the sisters get along so well that I could foresee them playing around all day if I put them together :) In the end, I thought it would be better to separate their study spaces. So, I decided to put a desk in the sisters' room, and using the space as efficiently as possible was the most important thing. We arranged two single beds side by side against one wall, and placed a desk and chest of drawers together against the opposite wall. Since the bookshelf in the study was already quite large, we decided to share it, and we also decided to purchase another small bookshelf next to the desk for items needed immediately. After carefully considering the furniture sizes and movement flow several times, everything fit perfectly without feeling as cramped as I expected.
