My house doesn't have a kimchi refrigerator, and since I love coffee so much, I created a home café space in the empty spot. I'm sharing my own tips, from choosing furniture that fits the space perfectly to the DIY details! 1. Space Utilization Instead of piling clutter in the empty space where the kimchi refrigerator used to be, I wanted to create a practical space that wouldn't disrupt the overall flow of the kitchen's interior. Since it's right next to the refrigerator, the workflow is convenient when brewing coffee or getting ice and water! I also added storage capacity by keeping cups and various odds and ends in the upper and lower cabinets! 2. Furniture Buying Tips - Size I chose the Trini Home Home Café Cabinet in size 1000. The size fits perfectly, so all the guests who visit think it was custom-made 😙 - Color This is the color I get asked about the most! My LG Objet refrigerator is beige. So, I chose the Smoke Gray color for the home café cabinet, which is the closest match. 3. DIY Installation It felt a bit plain, so I personally applied tile-pattern adhesive film. With just this one small detail, this ordinary storage cabinet has transformed into something with a more café-like vibe.
