Because it's a small house, I think very carefully about the number and size of things I put in it. I don't want to make it look bigger, but rather I want an interior that suits a small room. Reducing the number of items makes it look bigger, but I deliberately make it look cluttered. If there are too many things, it really does feel cramped, so I use a variety of colors to create a cluttered feel. But it's difficult to get the balance right, and I haven't quite gotten it right yet... My trial and error with interior design continues.
