[Ep.14: Creating a Book Cafe Living Room with Sofa Arrangement] With weekends bringing more time with the kids, watching TV was driving me crazy, so I removed the TV and worked some magic to transform the living room into a "reading-friendly space." 🪄 First, I placed IKEA picture frames that the kids and I designed ourselves where the TV used to be, adding a warm narrative to the space. I placed a modular bookshelf above the TV stand so that books could be easily accessed and read even in the living room. Today's mood changer is none other than a blanket from Zara Home! Just casually draping it over the sofa made the entire tone of the living room become much softer and cozier. I also placed small plants and soft lighting throughout to complete a charming yet warm interior. 🪴🕯️ I moved the sofa in front of the TV stand and placed a small IKEA bookshelf next to it to create a flow where the kids can immerse themselves in books at any time.
