In the past, I used to place my desk right against the wall. It gave me the feeling of organizing the space, but once I actually sat there, perhaps because my view was blocked, a sense of stifling frustration would subtly build up. So this time, I boldly changed the direction. To a setup where I face the door with my back to the window.
