Introducing a laundry room and pantry space created without any construction! It is the balcony space next to the kitchen. Since it is an older building, the balcony is incredibly spacious; there was plenty of room even after fitting a wash tower, so we decorated the space with lightweight racks and shelves.☺️ We underwent a full renovation before moving in, but due to budget constraints, we only applied minimal finishing to the balcony area and boldly left it empty. The reasons for not spending money on the laundry room were: 1. Since it is a space where water is used and condensation can occur, rather than ordering expensive custom-made furniture, let's install shelves made of materials that can simply be wiped clean if an issue arises! 2. With a limited budget but high standards, let's cut down on the balcony space—which is relatively hidden and not easily visible—and add the saved money to the common areas of the living room! These two reasons were the biggest factors.🤭 This is the laundry room and pantry space that Kim and I created ourselves—applying anti-condensation paint and decorating it with shelves and lightweight racks instead of custom-made furniture!
