You press lightly and it clicks into place, and just a quick swipe cleans up dust and hair in one go. What I particularly liked was: ✔ It cleans hard-to-reach places conveniently (under the sofa, under the piano, and under the dining table, all the way). ✔ It works even in high and cumbersome spots like bathroom ceilings. ✔ After cleaning, it detaches immediately with a pull, so you don't need to touch the dirty pad. The cleaning itself is the same, but it definitely feels less of a hassle.
