The Busiest Time in Our House: Our Dinner Home-Cooked Routine We try to cook home-cooked meals for most of the time. Since we are a dual-income couple, dinner time after work is always busy and hectic ๐ซข So, to consistently practice home cooking, there is one routine we make sure to stick to. It is planning the menu for the following week in advance every Sunday night! I first check the ingredients in the refrigerator and freezer, combine menus that can be made with what I have, and then simply shop for whatever is missing. This prevents unnecessary duplicate purchases, which reduces food waste and helps quite a bit with saving on living expenses โจ Most importantly, since the menu is set in advance, I can quickly prepare dinner as soon as I get home without having to worry about "What should I eat today?" after work ๐ It is a bit busy, but it is the most familiar daily routine in our house that allows us to wrap up the day well. We wrapped up yesterday's dinner on a hearty note with a spread of North Korean-style braised chicken
