There was a middle door in the master bathroom. It seems the previous owner installed it so they could only use the sink when the door was closed. We decided to remove it during the interior renovation. After removing it, the molding above it flew off, and the spot where the door used to be on the floor was gouged long and deep, perhaps because it couldn't withstand the weight of the middle door. The molding was reshaped by carpenters, and a film was applied to it. For the door, we applied Balen Moody White film to a plain surface, just like the doors in the other rooms. For the flooring, we replaced only the front section of the bathroom with Cera Mild Oak engineered wood flooring. I think it was a really good decision to make these changes.
