The date of my first upload to O-House, inscribed on my business card, is February 4, 2017. Starting with my first record in my second studio apartment after moving out on my own, I documented two housewarming parties in 2019 and 2022. During that time, I was active as a member of O-House from the 1st to the 6th cohort, recording the big and small changes in my home, daily life, and existence. Then, in May 2022, I joined Today's House, and for about three and a half years, until December 2025, I worked to give back the positive help and experiences of change I had received. My role was to support the documentation activities of other users and creators. And for three months after leaving the company, I focused again on my own documentation, which I had paused for a while, and in April 2026, I was honored to become a Special Creator. In this world without clear affiliations or standards, the title and role given to me, along with this small trophy and business card, serve as a truly great source of motivation. In an era of content overload where it is easy to follow the norm, the message to never forget one's own uniqueness leaves a deep impression. If only numbers mattered, I wouldn't have been able to become who I am. I consider this an act of empathy and support for me—someone who strives to live a life true to myself, even if imperfectly, for a long time without letting go of my will. Nevertheless, it is a genuine expression of Today's House's sincerity in trying to sharpen a single point. This trophy, which gives tangible form to such intangible values, I had a sample before, but with my new nickname engraved on it, it feels completely new to me. The business card I have regained as a member of Today's House is deeply meaningful, because it makes me realize that even though I left the company, I am ultimately carrying out the same mission.
