A week of remembering my grandfather has begun. This time, the flowers are pale purple delphiniums. I have always experienced only blue delphiniums, so this is my first time seeing a light purple one; I looked it up and found that its flower meaning is "subtle longing." I used to miss him with a heavy heart, but now I miss him a little more calmly, and subtly. I am truly grateful to have a space where I can quietly reflect on my memories.
