If I had to describe our home in one word, I’d say it’s ‘simplicity.’ (Except for the purple room, haha.) Actually, my aesthetic is colorful kitsch, while my partner’s is minimalism. Although we have polar opposite tastes, the one thing we agreed on when decorating was white and straight lines. We wanted to bring simplicity into our home based on these two elements. So, all materials are white. And straight lines rather than curves as much as possible. And if we had to use other colors, it was gray (silver). Once we established a clear concept, it became easy to choose materials and to expand our household items as we lived here. From door handles to switches, intercoms, and baseboards, we chose sharp, angular pieces! White tones act like a blank canvas that can capture any aesthetic we pursue. Straight lines complete the minimal atmosphere through a clean and organized feel.
