Since this is a kitchen without upper cabinets, the tiles are more visible. At first, I considered a plain solid gray, but I thought it might look too bland, so I chose subway tiles to add a subtle accent. To make the space appear taller, I installed 300x600mm tiles vertically. I matched the grout to the gray of the tiles. Because the kitchen is narrow and long, it could easily look cramped. However, by choosing cream white for the upper and lower cabinets, I completed an overall white-toned kitchen. Since it's a white tone, the kitchen looks less cramped.
