So, in preparation for this summer, we got the ❝Winix Window Air Conditioner 2.0❞. Before installation, while the master bedroom air conditioner was temporarily unavailable for inspection, I installed it on the master bedroom window first to try it out. Even though I did a super simple DIY installation rather than professional construction, it didn't stick out as much as I expected, and perhaps because it's a Vanilla White color, it blended cleanly and nicely with the room's atmosphere. No screwdriver needed; installation was finished by myself in about 30 minutes. I used to be stressed by the noise from a window air conditioner in the past, so I had the perception that window air conditioners were "lousy." However, the Winix Window Air Conditioner 2.0 is so quiet that I wondered, "Is this really the level of the newly added low-noise mode?" It reduces noise while maintaining the same display brightness, so it is quiet without any discomfort. When I set it to sleep mode, the noise level dropped to a minimum of 32dB, so Suho just drifted off to sleep while lying down. With 120° wide cooling, the airflow spreads evenly, and since I can control cooling, automatic, fan, and dehumidification modes with just one button, it was incredibly convenient to use according to the situation. Perhaps because of the 43L daily dehumidification capacity, the room becomes pleasant quickly, even on humid days like these. It was also really convenient that the internal automatic drying system activates automatically after use, and any water generated during operation evaporates automatically, so there is no need to empty the water tank separately. Above all, I am satisfied that I can turn it on and off even while out using the Winix Smart App, allowing me to cool the room down before I get home. With double gap sealing covering the inside of the frame and even the corners of the window sill, it blocks bugs, drafts, and even outdoor heat, so I feel like I’ve properly prepared for summer.
