🧽 Before summer, I cleaned and inspected the outdoor unit room. Summer is coming much earlier than last year. It’s getting hotter after the rain, isn’t it? Today, I’m going to dry-clean and inspect the outdoor unit room. 📍 0.1 Pyeong Outdoor Unit Room 1. Kitchen -> Pantry -> Shelter -> Outdoor Unit Room. 2. Open the louver shutters for ventilation before cleaning. 3. Generously soak an old sock with old hand sanitizer. 4. Scrub vigorously from top to bottom, covering everything within reach. 5. Thoroughly clean the floor tiles and grout as well. 6. Discard the contaminated sock. 7. Open the drain and secure it with a beverage lid. 8. Turn on the outdoor unit switch. 9. It’s so narrow that I barely managed to take a photo using a wide-angle lens. ⭐️ Turn on the power at the circuit breaker to test run the air conditioner!! You might ask why I go through all this trouble? I’m going to remove the dust accumulated during the winter and check for pests and mold. There used to be ladybugs occasionally, but fortunately, there isn't a single bug this year! It's a 9-year-old apartment. You can see signs of wear and tear here and there. However, if you maintain it consistently while you live here, it will break down less often, allowing you to live a little more comfortably. Before summer arrives, try inspecting the outdoor unit room first.
