💙 Pretty Items Are the Best 2 - A Simple Home Brunch 💙 I had my house disinfected this morning. However, as soon as the disinfecter opened the front door and came in, they asked if they could look around because my house was so pretty. After showering me with compliments, they asked if I was a living influencer or ran a blog. I replied in a small voice, "No. I'm just a housewife who likes cleaning." But after they left, I felt so good. So, so good. Actually, I hadn't been able to sleep well at night for quite a while, and since my husband was away on a business trip last week, I had been struggling a bit taking care of two kids and managing the house all by myself. As a result, I had sore teeth and couldn't even eat properly. Still, I wanted to raise my children in a well-organized, clean home, so I worked hard to clean and, even though I'm not a skilled cook, I looked up recipes and tried to make various dishes for them. The one comment I heard today felt like a reward for all of that, so I was incredibly happy and grateful. So, for the first time in a long while, I enjoyed a brunch just for myself. I took out the large Alice plate that I rarely use because it's a hassle, and prepared various things for myself on it. Most of the items were just ingredients I had in the refrigerator, but the mere fact that I took the trouble to take out the pretty dish from the back of the cupboard just for myself reminded me of the excitement I felt when I first bought it.
