#콘수프기록집 #오늘의우리집 🏡 Review of Changing the Bedroom Mood with Calc Paint in a 32-Year-Old Old House It was the master bedroom, which was actually quite stressful to look at every time because of the patterned wallpaper typical of old houses! Especially whenever natural light came in, the wallpaper pattern stood out even more, making the space look older 🥲 (I really don't know why they chose that wallpaper specifically for the bedroom 😭) So, I decided to try changing the atmosphere with DIY painting this time. ⸻ 🎨 Products & Colors Used Deparang Calc Paint Crema Color + Aida Premo Combination Since it is a lime-based natural paint, I could use it with relative peace of mind even in a home with children, and the subtle color tone softens the space. ⸻ 🛠 Application Process & Difficulty * Primer 2 coats * Crema 1 coat * Aida 1 coat I proceeded with a total of 4 layers. Although it is a paint that gives a European plastering feel, it was less thick, so it applied much more easily than I expected, and the difficulty level was definitely manageable for DIY. Since it was the master bedroom, I couldn't move the furniture, so I worked with just plastic sheeting, but it went smoothly without any issues. The paint applied thinly and dried quickly, so... It was very stress-free. I didn't even bother to protect the floor separately, but since it came off cleanly with a wet wipe before the paint dried, maintenance was easy. ⸻ 🌿 Before & After Transformation Previously, the patterned wallpaper made the space feel somewhat cluttered and stuffy. However, after painting, thanks to the texture that spreads softly when exposed to natural light, the atmosphere transformed into a much calmer and more emotional vibe.
