Fixing the Failed Interior of Bamti's Entryway… ⊹ ࣪ ˖ Before & After 6 ⊹ ࣪ ˖ (Warning: Lots of Talk!!) The entryway was the most contentious and problematic part of the remodeling process. You might be wondering, "What's wrong with the entryway?!" But we had so many plans for it, and it was the space where my husband and I had the most disagreements. First, the three things I wanted to do and my husband agreed to were: 1. Removal of storage cabinets and installation of a pantry 2. Custom-made bench cabinet 3. Tile change and film application The two things my husband really wanted to do were: 1. A mirror door 2. An open shelf to store car keys, wallets, etc. But I didn't want to do either of those things. ^.^… . 🙎‍♀️ "I don't want a mirror door. Can't we just install it inside the door?" 🙎‍♂️ I absolutely have to look in a full-length mirror when I go out, and having one inside the door is a hassle. 🙎‍♀️ I hate open shelving. Plus, the thought of having to put all sorts of things in it makes me hate it even more! 🙎‍♂️ I find that convenient. I really want to have one. We held a site meeting before our differences of opinion could be narrowed, but due to construction issues such as the location of the electrical distribution box, everything we had planned in advance went awry. In the end, feeling hopeless, I decided to let my husband have his way with the entrance plus the hectic situation of having an induced labor scheduled for the next day... so we ended up making a hasty decision, and the entrance turned out to be something I really didn't like.. (It was even more difficult because we chose this company to save on interior design costs, so they didn't offer services like 3D drawings; we had to visualize it in our heads and draw the picture.) On top of that, communication and delivery issues kept arising with the middle door and handle suppliers, so the middle door didn't turn out the way we wanted either... T_T After much deliberation, I ended up paying extra to redo the film work, and while the middle door didn't turn out exactly as I had envisioned... I managed to salvage it reasonably well... haha. If this hadn't been a hospital stay for labor induction and childbirth, I would have thought things through more calmly. Then, at the very least, I wouldn't have done the stupid thing of paying extra to put film on new furniture... Please don't make the same foolish mistake I did; make your decisions properly from the start... ⭐️ + The open shelf is currently filled with all sorts of my husband's junk and perfumes, so it has become a space I've just given up on. ^,^ LOL. I just told him to keep the entrance his own... and closed the middle door, giving him a blank look... #CornSoupRecord #InteriorKnowHow #EntranceInterior #MiddleDoor #InteriorConstruction #InteriorInfo #30PyeongApartmentInterior #RemodelingReview #BeforeAndAfter #Entrance #MiddleDoor #EntranceTile #30PyeongInterior
