Making some changes to the living room for the first time in a while gave the whole house a completely different vibe, making this weekend a real mood booster! The only new addition was the rug; even though the bookshelf, side table, and chair were all already in our house, they look brand new. It really makes me realize why people rearrange their furniture periodically. Next time, I want to try the diagonal sofa arrangement often seen on home decorating experts (a small dream). My favorite part of this renovation is the bookshelf! Since I placed it right next to the sofa within easy reach, I can put down my drink or keep small items at eye level as I pass by, which has really improved my daily workflow.
