When designing the interior, I prioritized my family's movement patterns and hobbies over chasing flashy trends. Since the kitchen and dining area are not merely places to eat but also spots for sharing intimate conversations with the children and sometimes serving as my own workspace, I styled them by mixing warm wood tones with white to create a look that is as neat and tidy as possible. I tend to be just as meticulous about practicality as I am about design when choosing a single item; I feel comfortable with the appliances and decor I've recently acquired when they fulfill their intended function without disrupting the overall tone and atmosphere of the home. Ultimately, I believe good home styling isn't about creating a perfectly set-up model home, but rather the process of building a "living space" that is permeated with a child's laughter and evolves gradually in sync with the growth of plants.
