#요즘타일사용법 Don't you see a lot of tile interiors these days? People often remodel by adding tiles to kitchens, bathrooms, and even tables. Or at least tile sheets! Haha. This is the bathroom from my previous house, which I no longer have since moved. Since we moved into a house where my husband lived alone and set it up right from our honeymoon, it was too awkward to do a full interior renovation (and we had to move anyway). But living in it as is didn't work either, because even though it was a semi-new building, the existing interior was really bothersome. Just then, I saw a DIY tile installation guide and decided to give it a try myself! It wasn't as hard as I thought, and as long as you can endure the drying time, it is definitely possible! For the color selection, I chose light yellow ivory tiles with dark sky blue grout to match the existing patterned tiles on the wall! When choosing mosaic tiles, it is best to accurately measure the size of the location where you plan to install them and select the tile size accordingly. ✅ Checking the tile size and the spacing between them is key!!! ✅ As for the grout, it appears slightly lighter as it dries, so please keep this in mind when selecting your color. However! It darkens when wet haha. Before installation, mix the white cement and spread it evenly on the vanity. Lay the tiles on top, then apply the colored grout between them, filling in the gaps. Wipe it clean several times with a sponge, and you're done!⭐️ After trying it once, I’ve fallen in love with tiles, and whenever I have a spare moment, I find myself wondering where I should install them next! Although my bathroom vanity was originally marble, I hated the mismatched color, the dullness, and how the water stains and signs of age would show up as white even after cleaning. But now it has transformed into a fresh-looking bathroom; it’s great for creating photo zones here and there, and it’s also very convenient for water cleaning! I highly recommend this to anyone who, like me, doesn't want a major renovation but just wants to change the atmosphere!
