Making hummus with chickpeas, grilling falafel (fried chickpeas), steak, butter-grilled shrimp, and avocado tomato salad. I happened to take out some tortillas and used up what was in the fridge to set the table. My family's eyes widened in amazement at seeing falafel for the first time in a while.
