So, I brought in a MUJI bench, placed it there, put a lamp on top, and added some plants to complete the bed zone! I realized that you don't necessarily need to have only storage cabinets in the bedroom, and it felt a bit empty after I took them out, so I put the bench there and placed my items on it. It feels neat and even prettier now :-) I guess this is why the atmosphere changes depending on what furniture you arrange.
