This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. Sculptural Light That Completes the Depth of Black, HEUGYUJAE-001 When curating a space, the most challenging aspect is figuring out how to translate the weight inherent in the color 'black' into light. The HEUGYUJAE portable lamp I experienced this time goes beyond simply being a tool to illuminate the darkness; it demonstrates an unrivaled presence as an object that adds three-dimensional texture to a neutral space. My first impression is one of neatness, as if looking at a finely crafted black stone or steel sculpture. It blends seamlessly into the monotone interior and desk setup I pursue in my home, while its distinctive matte black texture creates a subtle contrast with the surrounding furniture. A major appeal is its portability, allowing it to be freely placed anywhere light is needed—such as next to the living room sofa or on a bedside table—without the constraints of cables. The quality of the light is also impressive. Unlike its cold black exterior, the light emanating from within gently envelops the warmth of the space, maximizing immersion during the evening hours. Simply placing it in a corner of the living room of a 33-pyeong apartment allowed me to experience a transformation in the sophistication of the space. I am confident that anyone who loves black interiors will be captivated by the "dense light in the darkness" this lamp offers. I highly recommend this black glazed portable lamp as an item that completes the narrative of a space, rather than just a simple light source.
