I found Recan while looking for a odor-blocking trash can with a gapless lid! With spring coming, I realized that I needed to effectively eliminate odors from waste, such as potty pads and food waste, to prevent flying insects.🙊 Perhaps because the Recan trash can has a double-lid structure, I could definitely feel the difference from the very first day of use.👌 I liked that it opens conveniently with a pedal mechanism that doesn't require touching with your hands, and closes smoothly without any annoying noise. It effectively blocks out odors from potty pads, so I understand why it is so popular among households with children.😍 With its clean white design and chrome edges as accents, it doesn't look like a trash can at all and blends well with my home interior. The dedicated refill bags are equipped with a self-cutting mechanism, making them very easy to use. It even has a subtle lavender scent, so I was amazed that there was absolutely no smell when I opened the trash can.🌸 Another advantage is that it is compatible with standard garbage bags in addition to the dedicated refill bags. I’d say there’s absolutely no need to worry even when you suddenly run out of refill bags. Haha.
