I don't have many books, but I have a lot of other items, so I am using one wall for storage. I chose the Billy series, which is 30cm deep; it takes up minimal space and fits up to A4 size paper, making it very practical. To avoid a cramped look, I focused on low bookshelves and placed the larger ones in the corner. The view is less obstructed, making the space look much wider. I put mostly messy items in the lower section and organized them by covering them with half-glass doors. Since only the top is visible, it is easy to maintain a neat look. For reference, the Billy corner unit cannot have a door installed in the middle. It is a good idea to check this before purchasing.
