Hello, fellow members! It’s been a really long time. It’s been almost two months... I’ve been so incredibly busy that I haven’t even had a moment to spare to write a post, let alone log in to Ozip. I realized that I was only active because I had the time and mental space to spare, but I’m also extremely worried that I’ll be like this all year long. Anyway, the reason I’ve come back after such a long time is to write a #오감리뷰! I received a drill-free magnetic door stopper for this month's Ogam Review. My house has a standard door stopper, but the area where my foot rests is small. Because I kept accidentally hitting the door when I wasn't aiming properly, it started getting dirty. Just looking at the photos, this product seemed perfect because the rubber area where my foot rests is wide, it looks easy to use, and the design is clean. As you can see in the second photo, it uses a sticker adhesive type, so I thought it would be great for those who find it burdensome to drill new holes in their front door to install a door stopper. It didn't feel very heavy when I lifted it, and the hinges were smooth, making it easy to open and close. I tried attaching it to the door. You can see how dirty the door is near the existing crowbar, right? (I really need to clean it....) I attached it by eye at a height that I thought would be stable when standing upright. I even tried it with the front door open, and the position seemed just right. However, a huge problem arose...... I'm not sure if the texture shows up well in the photo, but I applied adhesive film to the inside of our front door. The film isn't a completely smooth surface; it has very slight bumps, like wallpaper. And as a result... it fell off immediately as soon as I closed the door. The front door is already quite heavy, so the recoil is significant, and it seems the adhesive isn't strong enough to overcome the material of the film. I tried several times, but the adhesive only got weaker and weaker, so I ended up being unable to install it. Although it is supposed to provide some magnetic support, it isn't as strong as the super magnets commonly used these days, so it didn't help much. I thought about trying it on the bathroom door, but it was difficult because it was finished with the same adhesive film. I was so disappointed that I couldn't use it properly. 😆 Pros - Clean design - Easy installation - Convenient to use 🥲 Cons - Possibility of not adhering depending on the door material - Magnetic force is weaker than expected and not very helpful for installation 👍 Recommended for: - Those who find drilling holes burdensome because it is a rental or an indoor door - Those who have experienced inconvenience due to the very small presser foot 👎 Not recommended for: - Those like me whose door surfaces are made of uneven materials... #This is a review based on personal use and styling after receiving the product through the Ogam Review Program
