Everyday items from Soil Baker received as part of the Today's House Special Creator collaboration! To be honest, I wasn't very familiar with the brand Soil Baker (I knew the name, but I didn't know exactly what they made or how). However, after using their products every day for about two weeks, what I felt was that they are "truly lovely and warm." I also loved the message written on the accompanying card. It said that our daily lives are not about putting on a show, but about carefully crafting each day with the heart of a craftsman, using our genuine selves as the material. Since I am easily swayed by warm words and writing, that message really resonated with me 😌. In particular, the "Sum" mug (Photos 6-8) and the "Aekmagi" (Dried Pollock) (Photo 5) make me feel good every time I look at them, so I find myself reaching for them often and have hung them up in a prominent spot. The mug and saucer remind me of the sky as it changes into its mysterious colors, and the pollock feels like touching soil thanks to its rough texture! I intended to capture how I use it day by day as soon as I received it, but lately my days have been so busy setting the table, eating, and cleaning up that I couldn't take any food photos.
