First off, since it's stainless steel, it's hygienic. As long as the size fits, it can be used in a dishwasher. Because of its large size, you can prepare various vegetables and fruits, and it's great for baking too~ It seems useful for preparing meat as well. Also, if you place it flush against the sink, it looks neat and pretty ❤️ The downside is that the feel isn't quite what you're used to when chopping things.
