#콘수프기록집 #인테리어노하우 The open-plan kitchen that was my dream...✨ It looks cozy and pretty, but after living here for 3 years, the reality isn't easy😭 I chose it just for its beauty, but I'm realizing it every day 3 real regrets about an open-plan kitchen! 👇 ✔️ An endless hell of accessories A wide countertop 1 meter wide... It was definitely nice to have plenty of space, but because it's so wide, I keep putting all sorts of things on it🤦‍♀️ It's so visible from the living room that I'm in a never-ending tidying war no matter how much I clean! ✔️ Water splashing & drain maintenance Since there is no wall to block it, the wide countertop quickly becomes a waterlogged mess after just one wash😭 On top of that, when we renovated, we changed the kitchen layout, so the sink drain pipes are bent into a long 'U' shape. That's why regular drain maintenance is essential. 😨 ✔️ A Ventilation Hell with Blocked Windows I blocked the kitchen window to build a refrigerator cabinet, and it looks incredibly neat, doesn't it? But once I grill fish or meat, the smoke just won't escape. 😫 It’s a smell hell for the whole house all evening long... 🤦‍♀️ The price I paid for beauty is truly harsh, isn't it?
