A standard-sized apartment, I changed the kitchen layout because I wanted to fit a 2-meter-long dining table. In the existing narrow and cramped L-shaped kitchen, I boldly moved the sink against the wall and extended it all the way to the veranda. To my surprise, the kitchen, which used to be just a "cooking space," has now become a "dining space" where the family spends time. I simply placed a large dining table, but eating, talking, and spending time with the child all converge here.
