[Introduction to Interior Materials Part 1: Flooring] I wanted to use tile or porcelain for the flooring, but due to budget constraints, I was looking for the closest material available ๐ Initially, I planned to go with 5mm thick vinyl flooring, which is said to be more comfortable for the soles of the feet due to its cushioning. However, when I visited a store and saw the actual installations, the tile patterns felt much more artificial than I expected ๐ข So, I hesitated about going with engineered wood flooring because of issues like scratches, water seeping through gaps, and the difficulty of removing stains from the uneven surfaces ๐ตโ๐ซ That is when I discovered LX Z:IN Editon ๐ฒ Perhaps because it is made from stone powder, it had the most natural stone-like feel, and I heard it is a material that is resistant to scratches and water. The downside is that it lacks cushioning and is quite hard. Even within Editon, there was a wide variety of designs, but I chose the Salty Ash Square (600x600), which features cool tones, a subtle pattern, and a square tile shape. I was very satisfied from the moment I first saw it installed in my home, and it is a flooring material that I am increasingly satisfied with as I live here.๐ For those of you struggling to choose flooring!
