A house without a TV in the living room; this is how we use it instead. We don't have a TV in our living room, so we've turned one room into an audiovisual room. I've placed a portable TV opposite the chair, and watching movies, reading books, or having a quick beer with my husband after work are the healing times I look forward to the most during the day. Since the room isn't a perfect rectangle but has a recessed side, I placed a computer in that space to naturally separate it into a workspace. It's small, but it has become a space where I can focus more and actually use it more often.
