Hello, this is Jireum☺️ Today, I’ve brought you a mini housewarming party to give you a sneak peek of our master bedroom :) Our master bedroom has a long, narrow layout, so the bed placement was a bit tricky. After much deliberation, I decided to place the built-in wardrobe at the back and position it with a slight gap between it and the bed. With this setup, the space looks much more spacious and less cramped. It’s a small difference, but I can really feel the impact in daily life, so it’s a point I’m very satisfied with. For the overall mood, I tried to keep it as clean as possible using a black and white base. Rather than over-decorating, I wanted to match the tones to create a calm atmosphere. On the bed, I added just a subtle accent with a fluffy duvet and striped cushions, keeping the rest of the space as empty as possible. The mood lamp and books next to the bed are actually… almost like decorative objects haha. Keeping the aesthetics in check but only using my phone in reality… everyone can relate to that, right? haha. There is a passageway leading to the bathroom on the side wall, so I hung a curtain to naturally separate the space. This single detail makes the atmosphere feel much more organized, so it’s actually a surprisingly important point. I also placed a round mirror on the wall; it's perfect for taking photos when the light hits it, so it serves as my own little photo zone :) I decorated the space opposite with a slightly different atmosphere. Instead of a TV, I placed a rattan cabinet and a wooden bookshelf to divide the space into a bedroom and a study area. Even though it's one space, the mood is different in each section, making it less boring and more interesting. Lastly, I gathered the keyrings I've collected one by one on the wall shelf. They are small things, but they are my own personal healing spot that makes me feel good every time I look at them, so it's a space I secretly cherish haha. I think the charm of a bedroom is that the atmosphere can change dramatically just by getting the layout and mood right, without making any major changes.
