I fixed the hole in the accent wall made by the previous tenant using adhesive film. The nail hole in the living room accent wall bothered me as soon as I moved in. Since I was renting, I couldn't repair it, and the location was too awkward to cover with furniture. After much deliberation, I finally chose removable adhesive film. Because it is removable, it doesn't leave any marks when peeled off. I highly recommend it to anyone doing DIY interior decorating while renting. The installation was simpler than I expected. You just need to stick the film on by sweeping it from top to bottom, and use an old credit card to push it out to remove any air bubbles—that's it. As the stone-patterned accent wall changed to a white microcement tone, the overall atmosphere of the living room became much calmer. A single roll of adhesive film solved a problem I had given up on because it was a rental.
