Attention, couples with polar opposite sleeping temperatures! ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ As a bit late for spring bedding replacement, Iโd like to share some tips for our newlywed bedroom ๐๏ธโจ ๐ก TIP 1. Wider and more comfortable than a king size! โSuper Single Twin Bedsโ I bought the Ace mattress I used when I lived alone quite a while ago, but since the exact same model is still being produced, I bought another one and put it next to each other. Itโs great for rolling around to your heart's content, and even if we toss and turn or wake up in the middle of the night, it doesn't affect each other's sleep at all, so our quality of life has skyrocketed. (The fun of sometimes getting squeezed(?) between the mattresses is a bonus๐คฃ) ๐ก TIP 2. Keep duvet inserts of various thicknesses and use four-season covers Like most couples, I tend to get cold easily, while my roommate tends to get hot easily. So, I keep three types of duvet inserts on hand: one for cold weather, one for all seasons, and one for summer, and mix and match according to the weather! โ๏ธ Midwinter: Cold weather (Me) + All seasons (Roommate) ๐ธ Spring/Autumn: All seasons (Me) + Summer (Roommate) โ๏ธ Summer: Summer (Me) + No duvet (Roommate) Setting it up like this allows each of us to get a good night's sleep at our optimal temperature! ๐ก TIP 3. Since identical covers are boring, try 'Color Mix & Match' I didn't really want to buy two identical duvet covers, so to intuitively distinguish the thickness of the duvets, I tried matching covers of different colors for each of us. It's really fun to buy bedding in your desired colors and mix and match them according to the season, hehe ๐ I hope this helps those of you decorating your bedroom in your new home!
