As a member of #FTC24th, the space for my second #MiniHousewarming is the kitchen! I tried my best to achieve the desired result in this #OldTwoBay structure. 1. Structural Changes • Relocating the hood Since the ceiling is on the lower side, I was worried about the entire #CeilingLowering due to the hood relocation. However, after installing indirect lighting, it actually looks like part of the design, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. 2. Furniture • Folding door for the refrigerator cabinet Inside the folding door in the center, I hid the cooker, kettle, and rice cooker along with the window frame, allowing for ventilation and cooking whenever I want! I'm a bit worried because I've heard folding doors break down frequently🥺, but so far, I'm very satisfied🤍 • Open-plan island With a long island table and a bar counter, there is ample storage, and I love being able to have quick meals right in front of the induction cooktop🤍 The only thing I regret is that I should have rolled up the countertop to include legs..! I do have some regrets ㅠㅠ But I am satisfied with the compromise I made on the price at this level 🥹 We did it this way for our kitchen, so we hardly used any tiles, which saved us a little money! I think the bar table chairs would look even prettier if they were black instead of wood, but since I haven't had them for long, I plan to wait and see a bit longer before changing them haha. I hope your home will be even prettier by the time I visit next time 🤤✨
