I needed to secure both storage and cooking space, and while it would be nice if it looked pretty too, my budget was limited. I agonized over how to do it without major construction like plumbing or extensions, and this is the completed kitchen. 🩷 Choosing a system window for the kitchen was a really good decision. Originally, I planned to put upper cabinets above the system window for storage, but after seeing the window installed, I decided to just remove the upper cabinets—and I am extremely satisfied with that as well. 🤍 People asked if having the refrigerator located separately would be inconvenient, but I cook two meals a day for two adults and two children, plus three on weekends, and I am satisfied without any major inconvenience!
