Although these days, people often set up a separate dining room or place the table by the living room veranda window. We placed our dining table in the living room, which is adjacent to the kitchen! We have to pass through a hallway(?) between the living room and the kitchen, but since it's only a 32-pyeong house... haha... surprisingly, setting the table and moving dishes doesn't feel any more cumbersome than before. I really agonized over the placement of the pendant lights, thinking that the dining table position had to be practically fixed. It was a layout where even the interior design company couldn't offer any opinions on whether it was right or wrong, but I am satisfied with it. ☺️ Thanks to this, we can use the kitchen and utility room more spaciously, and we even help the kids with their homework while eating snacks at the table! Breaking away from the rigid structure gives me freedom in utilizing the space.🪽🤎
