A culinary journey to local delights from the comfort of your home. The "Local Choice" special exhibition on Today's House starts on May 11th. Apples produced in Gyeongbuk, a region both near and far, have been shipped directly to my house! These are incredibly cost-effective apples designed for home use; aside from a few minor blemishes, they were so refreshingly sweet that I decided to make a simple apple pie using sliced bread. The key to this pie is slicing it thinly, and since the apples were firm, they sliced very thinly, haha. I sliced the bread, spread some cream cheese, and layered Fuji and Shinano Gold apples one on top, and the colors looked so pretty. I sifted cinnamon powder and sugar over the top, lightly tossed it in the air fryer, and picked some mint leaves for decoration. I definitely planted my mint friends in my mini garden in designated sections, but after the winter, I wonder why they are growing so haphazardly... I just plucked two leaves of apple mint and stuck them in, and doesn't it look even cuter?? **Today's House Local Choice" special exhibition begins on May 11th.
