#어버이날 Record ✨️ How did everyone spend Parents' Day? I invited both sets of parents separately the day before and on the day itself to treat them to a home-cooked meal 🤭 While restaurants are nice, I felt that for Parents' Day, it would be more meaningful to personally prepare a lavish feast to serve them. Both families enjoyed the meal so much, which made me feel so proud ✨️ The theme was "Nourishing Food" 💚 My parents' family, who also enjoy spicy food: Mackerel rice in a pot + Gochujang stew + Bocconcini salad + Watercress and shrimp pancakes + various side dishes, and grilled eel 🐟 (not pictured) 💙 My in-laws, who have a milder palate and prefer less spicy food: Radish rice in a pot + Beef and radish soup + Bocconcini salad + Stir-fried beef brisket and bean sprouts + Fresh vegetable kimchi + various side dishes, and butter-grilled abalone 🧈 (not pictured) And a small allowance that doesn't quite capture my heart 💵😂 I usually keep the flowers in pastel tones, but since the parents were coming, I made them colorful.
