This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the Curator Program. I set up a full Korean meal table for the first time in a while! I've been married for seven years, but I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've made doenjangguk (soybean paste soup). Making pasta is still easier than Korean food, but for doenjangguk, you just dissolve soybean paste in a liquid broth, chop up the ingredients, and that's it, right? I rushed to make doenjangguk after coming back from the market (I was practically drooling on the way home because of the side dishes from the market's side dish shop...). I managed to plate it and take a photo before it got too cloudy! But now, I only have three hours left until dinner... This tableware set, which beautifully arranged the Korean food, is from the Today's House Edition #솔솔푸른솔. I thought SolSolPureunSol only had white porcelain because there were so many people at the recent Icheon Ceramic Festival that I couldn't even properly look around, but it turns out they have a new line! From off-white line bowls and ring plates with concave line rims to deep V-shaped flat side dishes and even basic plates! With just one set like this, you can beautifully set up a full Korean meal. Even if you just haphazardly plating whatever side dishes you have on hand, doesn't it look like you put a little extra effort into your meal today? I don't usually buy matching tableware sets, but these don't look too much like a set, and the matte finish gives them a subtly luxurious feel. These dishes go well with other tableware, even if they aren't from Solsol Pureunsol. (Only the plate holding the peaches is a different product.)
