I cooked this Budae Jjigae for a quick meal after work, and I was much more satisfied than I expected. Since it is a concentrate type, you only need to add 300ml of water to boil it. It’s actually a plus that it doesn't take up much space when stored. (Because you have to add water and boil it, the frozen concentrate actually melts faster.) When I first received it, I was surprised that the quantity seemed too small, but after reading the instructions and adding water, there was more than enough for two people! I added Spam and enoki mushrooms that I had at home, and tried using tofu noodles instead of ramen noodles, and I highly recommend this combination… 🥹 It’s a shame the tofu noodles look a bit clumpy in the photo, but in reality, they were incredibly delicious with a slight Mala Tang vibe. It has a spicy Budae Jjigae broth with a subtle flavor of Namhae garlic that makes you want to keep eating! You can enjoy it sufficiently with just the basic ingredients, but I liked that you can enjoy a much more hearty meal by adding a few ingredients you have at home. Personally, I think it would go really well with udon noodles next time 🍜 Also, I coated the half of the Spam and half of the enoki mushrooms left over from the Budae Jjigae in egg batter and grilled them together. Since I could make it quickly while the stew was boiling, it felt like a simple yet much more satisfying meal 🍳 Working couples can quickly complete a meal by pairing it with frozen rice they have on hand haha The cooking is really simple, but the flavor is quite rich, so adding just a few ingredients from the refrigerator makes it feel like a proper meal! I think it's a great product to stock up on for days like these when you don't feel like cooking 👍 #OHomStaurant #PlatingMaster #FollowForFollow #20PyeongInterior #NewlywedHome #NewlywedHomeInterior #FoodForSingles #CookingForSingles #SimpleCooking #MealKit This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #OhGamReview program.
