My husband and I really love Budae Jjigae 👩‍❤️‍👨 We’ve tried so many meal kits! Actually, I thought this one would be just as good. But it was a real surprise. It’s a convenient ready-to-eat meal, but the flavor is deep and the broth is incredibly rich. The deep, rich broth combined with the umami of the ham and sausage made it feel just like eating at a restaurant. 🍲 Above all, the addition of Namhae garlic, which has a fragrant and pungent flavor, makes the taste even deeper and spicier. Since the Namhae Garlic Budae Jjigae is a concentrated product of about 250g, you need to add 300ml of water when cooking to enjoy it at its best. As big eaters, we added more vegetables and ham. Then, after adding water and letting it simmer, the rich aroma of the broth spreads, completing the deep and spicy flavor! When we first received it, I wondered if the portion was small? I tried it, and since it is a concentrated product, adding water as instructed and boiling it resulted in plenty of liquid. Also, if you add ingredients to your liking like I did, you can enjoy an even more hearty and filling meal.
