This is a review based on my personal experience using and styling the product, which was provided through the #오감리뷰 program. I usually find cooking soup difficult, so squid and radish soup wasn't a dish I made often at home! However, after trying the Shinsegae Food Master Collection Cheongdo Minari Squid and Radish Soup this time, I was extremely satisfied 🫶 Since it is a 250g concentrate product, it looked smaller than I expected when I first received it, so I wondered if the quantity was small. But when I added just 300ml of water and boiled it, the broth turned out to be quite generous. Because you simply pour it into a pot and boil it without any complicated ingredient preparation or steps, it was great for preparing a meal without any hassle, even on busy days. The cooking process was so simple that even those who aren't confident in making soup can make it without difficulty! As soon as it started boiling, the refreshing aroma rising from the squid and radish, combined with the unique fragrance of Cheongdo minari, really whetted my appetite. Squid and radish soup can easily become fishy or bland, but I liked that this product had a rich and deep broth flavor with a clean, savory umami taste. In particular, the refreshing coolness extracted from the radish blended with the subtle aroma of the water parsley, leaving the broth feeling clean and refreshing until the very last bite. I liked it even more because it is easy to prepare yet feels like a home-cooked meal made with care. Eating it with a bowl of rice made me feel full and comfortable, so it is a flavor I find myself thinking about again and again. If I stock up on this in the freezer, I think it will be really useful on busy days or whenever I crave warm soup!
