Every day, wondering "What should I cook for dinner?" is the biggest dilemma for us home cooks, isn't it? ㅠㅠ But having just this one meal kit in the freezer gave me such a sense of reassurance! The cooking instructions are so simple, and the taste is good enough to put most restaurants to shame, so I completely fell in love with it. When eating meal kits, you often end up adding extra ingredients you have at home because the contents are a bit lacking, right? But with this one, there was a really generous amount of sausage, so I didn't need to add anything extra. As it simmered, the ham piled high on top of the red broth; the visuals alone were a huge success—it was enough to make me feel full just by looking at it! Plus, since it is a 250g concentrate product, you just need to add 300ml of water and boil it, and you're done! It's perfect for when you've run out of energy after work, isn't it? Especially since this is the Namhae Village-infused Budae Jjigae, the broth has a really deep and rich flavor, perhaps because they spared no garlic. The umami from the ham combined with the moderately spicy broth makes it a total rice thief. I was amazed at how it was 100% identical to the Budae Jjigae you buy outside. Even though my husband usually can't handle spicy food well, he really enjoyed this! Perhaps because it wasn't just an intensely spicy flavor, but rather had a deep, savory umami taste. Actually, I'm actually quite sensitive to textures, so I usually can't eat sausages that don't quite suit my palate. However, I was extremely satisfied with this product because the sausage wasn't dry at all; it was soft yet still had a nice bouncy texture. It was so delicious to mix the rice into the piping hot broth and top it with a piece of sausage haha.
